Why Rutba Calls

Phone calls are where most business actually happens and where the least gets recorded. Rutba Calls puts the number inside the CRM: click a customer to dial, and the call — who, when, how long, and the recording — is on their record before you have hung up.

What's inside

The apps Rutba Calls unlocks

One listing, 4 applications — all on the same customer record, catalog and books as the rest of the family.

Calls

Numbers, click-to-call logging and the call ledger — one of the three surfaces in the Rutba Comms app, and the half that is running today.

Deskphone

The screen somebody taking calls lives in all day: the call ringing, who is calling and what Rutba already knows about them, answer, hold, transfer, and the wrap-up that turns a finished call into a disposition on the record.

Scaffolded, registered and startable; it does not do telephony yet. The call ledger it will write into already exists in the Comms shell.

Switchboard

The administrator’s side: DIDs and trunks, inbound routes, business hours, IVR menus, queues, extensions, and the recording and retention policy over all of it.

Scaffolded and startable; the routing engine behind it is not built.

Voice campaigns

Outbound calling as a campaign rather than a phone system: audiences from the CRM, a dialling strategy, and per-call outcomes written back to the record.

Deliberately last of the three. Outbound calling has legal requirements that differ by market, and an AI voice agent has more of them.

Where Rutba Calls actually stands. The record-keeping half is live: number inventory, click-to-call logging, consented recording references and the call ledger on the customer timeline. The telephony itself - carrier trunks, routing, queues and voicemail - is not released, which is why this is not yet something you can buy.
